If I had to choose one word to synthesize all the problems of the world, it would be - imbalance. This imbalance stretches from the individual to the global levels: from the imbalance in the distribution of resources and material wealth to the lack of balance in nature. The main reason for the imbalance of the aquatic resources, in particular, lies in the fact that the solar energy is unevenly distributed around our planet. Our atmosphere is constantly searching for its lost thermodynamic balance which should attenuate temperature irregularities. According to certain sources, Planet Earth was tens of thousands years ago completely covered by a dense coherent layer of clouds, i.e, that it existed in the same state as does Planet Venus today. Thus, we can conclude that the state of balance is Earth’s natural state. One of the possible solutions for restoring the balance could be the creation of a system based on principles of reversible-cycle heat pump, powered by solar energy and applicable to vast areas. If the system was positioned near mountain ranges , for example, it would resolve the problem of so-called rainshadow area, where low precipitations create an arid and dry region.
